The Southern Forests
The Southern Forests region is well known for its Jarrah and Karri trees standing up to 90 metres tall and over 200 years old. You will be in awe of these giants. The area has three climbing trees, one being the famous 60 metre high Gloucester Tree.
View the canopy of the magnificent tingle forests on the Tree Top Walk, or relax on the cliff-tops of Point D’Entrecasteaux.
There is much history in the area. A visit to the Manjimup Timber and Heritage park shows the steam trains & tools used in the 1800’s. A great place for children and the young at heart with a 17m high lookout and giant slide and flying fox.
There are many walk trails some with beautiful waterfalls. Visit the Pemberton Mountain Bike Park or Manjimup's new skate park.
