Activities in the area, things to do and experience around our chalets
The Southern Forests region is well known for its Jarrah and Karri trees standing up to 90 metres tall and over 200 years old. You will be in awe of these giants. The area has three climbing trees, one being the famous 60 metre high Gloucester Tree.
View the canopy of the magnificent tingle forests on the Tree Top Walk, or relax on the cliff-tops of Point D’Entrecasteaux.
There is much history in the area. A visit to the Manjimup Timber and Heritage park shows the steam trains & tools used in the 1800’s.
There are many walk trails some with beautiful waterfalls. Hire a mountain bike or bring your own & visit the Pemberton Mountain Bike Park.

What our guests say:
My husband and I just spent 4 nights at Scarlet woods. We got engaged here 2 years ago, and just came back for a visit (about 6 mths after the wedding). This place is just fantastic . Located close enough to Pemberton and Manjimup to be convenient, but far enough to experience the privacy and the quiet. Far away from the lights of the town to see the stars on a clear night. The chalets are very well appointed, with all the modern conveniences, but with fantastic views. We pretty much stayed in and did nothing for 2 days (which was just what we needed to do too!).
Simply fantastics place with several chalets and great balconies where you can watch the kangaroos come and play. Rather luxurious chalets in a great setting with everything you need. We had bbq every night on the balcony and the hosts are very friendly. Will go here again if we visit this area of Australia again. You will love this place.
The staff/owners were friendly and welcoming even though we arrived late.the room was warm,as was the spa which was awesome to get into after a long drive and relax. The bed was awesome.the room and view was the best ever,as was the hot tub.the whole experience is one that i thoroughly enjoyed from start to finish. Definitely going back there asap.🖒
Very well maintained and pleasantly appointed spacious chalets with all mod cons, appearing in the metaphorical flesh as per the pics on the Scarlet Woods website, no disappointment. I don’t recommend easily however if tranquility in a beautiful setting is what you seek this ticks all the boxes. A very enjoyable stay, would definitely return and perhaps for longer than the five nights spent on this occasion.
