Activities in the area, things to do and experience around our chalets
The Southern Forests region is well known for its Jarrah and Karri trees standing up to 90 metres tall and over 200 years old. You will be in awe of these giants. The area has three climbing trees, one being the famous 60 metre high Gloucester Tree.
View the canopy of the magnificent tingle forests on the Tree Top Walk, or relax on the cliff-tops of Point D’Entrecasteaux.
There is much history in the area. A visit to the Manjimup Timber and Heritage park shows the steam trains & tools used in the 1800’s.
There are many walk trails some with beautiful waterfalls. Hire a mountain bike or bring your own & visit the Pemberton Mountain Bike Park.

HOW TO ARRIVE
Location
Scarlet Woods is an enjoyable 3.5 hours from Perth city.
From Perth take the Kwinana Freeway to Bunbury. From Bunbury turn left on to the South Western Hwy following the signs to Manjimup.
From Manjimup continue on the South Western Hwy for approx. 15-20mins. Once you cross Rooneys Bridge (Warren River) look for the Scarlet Woods Chalets sign 800m to the right.
